Softens the Look of Fine Lines and Wrinkles

You may not be able to turn back the clock, but Celavive Vitalizing Serum helps refresh and revitalize the look of your skin for a more youthful appearance.

Get powerful support for your visibly stressed skin caused by environmental and lifestyle factors with BioPeptide-CS. The botanical extracts and peptides work together to promote firm, vibrant-looking skin. The complex features InCelligence Technology, designed to support the skin’s natural processes for a visibly smoother complexion.

There are a number of ways the complex promotes the look of healthy skin:

  • Helps rebalance the look of stressed skin for a smoother appearance
  • Supports the skin’s moisture barrier to promote plump, hydrated-looking skin
  • Retains building blocks of healthy skin, including collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, to fight the visible signs of aging and maintain firmness
  • Provides antioxidant support to promote a brighter, more even-looking skin tone

Supporting these processes within your skin can significantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve your overall complexion.

Healthy Collagen Helps Skin Look Tighter and Firmer

Youthful-acting skin is supple and resilient. Its strength comes from the ability to act a bit like a rubber band. It bounces back after stretching. The visible effects of less elasticity are gradual sagging and increased fragility of the skin.

Maintain your skin’s youthful firmness by supporting strong collagen and elastin in your skin matrix. Collagen is vulnerable after sun exposure because the free radicals and dryness created can cause it to break down. If too much collagen is degraded, you will see wrinkles and less elasticity in the skin.

BioPeptide-CS in Celavive Vitalizing Serum targets key cellular processes that support collagen and other structural proteins from breaking down to help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Similarly, Celavive Vitalizing Serum is formulated to visibly improve the look of skin affected by environmental stressors, including those associated with advanced glycation end products (AGEs). AGEs are destructive molecules formed in reactions between sugars and proteins, lipids, or nucleic acids. These molecules can cause collagen to become rigid and more prone to breakage.

Collagen weakened by AGEs can cause skin to look thin, discolored, and slack. Oxidative stress can speed this process, especially from a diet full of fried foods and refined sugars. Inhibiting some of the effects of AGEs with antioxidants helps shield healthy collagen, preserving skin’s elasticity.

Celavive Vitalizing Serum contains a Superfood Complex made with fungi extract that contains a blend of adaptogens and antioxidants to support collagen and elasticity. Vitalizing Serum is designed to visibly enhance skin’s elasticity for a firmer, more supple appearance after use. A private study showed skin elasticity improved in three hours, meaning you’ll see visibly firmer skin.

Lipids and Skin Cells Are Protected

Protecting skin cells and natural lipids from damage helps preserve skin’s elasticity and firmness. One way to protect against damage and prevent early signs of aging is through the use of antioxidants.

The concentrated BioPeptide-CS in Vitalizing Serum supports the skin’s defense against oxidative stress and nurtures the moisture barrier for a healthy, hydrated appearance. This visible brightening action is boosted by many additional protective antioxidants in Vitalizing Serum, including coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) and Olivol24.

Coenzyme Q10 provides antioxidant support and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also supports a firmer, more youthful-looking complexion.

Olivol24, USANA’s proprietary blend derived from olive fruit extract, delivers 24 hours of hydration to promote a luminous, healthy-looking complexion. These two ingredients work together to visibly brighten and smooth the skin’s surface—revealing a complexion that looks vibrant and healthy.

Youthful Skin Appearance and Tone is Preserved

Melanin plays a protective role in the skin. However, when too much is produced in one area, you can see age spots, freckles, or uneven coloration. While shifts in melanin are usually normal, they can dull your natural glow and affect your confidence.

The encapsulated liposomal bakuchiol in Vitalizing Serum promotes a youthful-looking complexion. This plant-based is delivered through lipid vesicles to enhance absorption and promote visible skin benefits.  It supports balanced melanin production and visibly even skin tone—all with a gentler touch than traditional retinoids.

Note: Always make sure you have any questionable spots or freckles inspected by your dermatologist.

Clinical Studies

An eight-week study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream on the appearance of the skin around the eyes. The study included 36 women between the ages of 35 and 75, representing diverse racial backgrounds and a range of skin types, including combination, dry, and normal. Participants presented with mild to moderate under-eye puffiness, dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles, and a lack of firmness or radiance.

Subjects were instructed to apply the test material twice daily as directed to the skin around the eyes, between the brows, the marionette lines, nasolabial folds, cheeks, and jawline. The first application was performed in the clinic immediately following baseline assessments. Product use continued for eight weeks, with measurements taken at baseline, week 2, week 4, and week 8 to assess improvements in skin appearance.

Results show that under the conditions of the test, Vitalizing Serum demonstrated a noticeable improvement in the appearance of fine lines— nearly 25% around the eye area, close to 20% on the forehead, and more than 15% across the upper lip and chin area.

This graph shows the results at week 8 of the study. Subjects saw an improvement in skin smoothness, particularly in the eye area, forehead, chin area, upper lip, and cheeks.

Restored Radiance is Possible with Celavive Contouring Face & Neck Cream

If you’ve had a long day, think about what your skin’s been through. Your largest organ does many jobs—protection and regulation for a start. And it’s supposed to look good doing them.

Treat your hard-working skin to luxurious moisture with Celavive Contouring Face & Neck Cream. The advanced active ingredients work to support your complexion. That way, your skin stays strong and looks youthful and radiant.

It all starts with BioPeptide-CS. USANA InCelligence Technology is utilized in Face & Neck cream to support visible skin vitality and promote a healthy-looking complexion. The complex includes ingredients like southernwood extract, coffee seed extract, hexapeptide-48 HCl, and palmitoyl tripeptide-38. These compounds work to enhance the appearance of the skin by supporting the natural functions associated with maintaining a youthful and radiant look.

For example, Hexapeptide-48 HCl supports the skin’s barrier function to create a smooth-looking skin surface overnight. Maintaining a healthy skin barrier contributes to the appearance of resilient, healthy-looking skin over time. A strong and thick skin barrier amplifies moisture retention for a visibly soft and youthful complexion.

Southernwood (Artemisia abrotanum) extract can support your skin’s lipids and protect collagen and elastin from breaking down to help maintain a youthful appearance. This compound is rich in oligosaccharides (complex sugars) that work to make the skin appear smooth and luminous.

Experience Intense Hydration

Celavive Contouring Face & Neck Cream is formulated to provide intense hydration. Dry skin is tight, rough, and can look wrinkled. Moisture changes all of that. That’s why the moisturizing ingredients help support exceptional hydration that smooths and plumps the look of skin for a youthful appearance.

Olivol24 adds deep hydration and helps balance your skin’s natural moisturizing factors. The fruit extracts in the botanical blend have been clinically shown to provide 24 hours of rich hydration after just one application.

Plum extract helps reduce the appearance of aging and delivers immediate hydration. Like many fruits, plums contain natural sugars and organic acids that are natural humectants—water-loving substances that can attract and bind water molecules from the surrounding environment. The humectants in plum extract prevent this water from evaporating from the skin’s surface, increasing your skin’s water content.

Hydration is key to healthy skin. When skin cells are hydrated, they swell. This “plumping” effect fills out the spaces between cells, reducing the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. Similarly, hydrated skin is more pliable and resilient, affecting its ability to stretch and return to its original shape. The hydrating ingredients in Celavive Contouring Face & Neck Cream can help reinforce the skin’s moisture barrier to lock in hydration and promote a smoother, firmer appearance.

Reduce the Appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Superfood complex helps visibly smooth the skin’s surface and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles through a blend of adaptogens to support the skin’s moisture barrier.

Adaptogens support the skin’s natural balance. They are believed to help skin “adapt” to help improve the look of skin exposed to daily stressors, promoting a balanced and resilient appearance. This can lead to a more even skin tone, improved texture, and a healthier-looking complexion over time.

In addition to their balancing effects, adaptogens also contribute to strengthening the skin’s natural moisture barrier. A fortified barrier helps retain hydration, which contributes to the look of smooth, supple, and elastic skin.

The Superfood complex in Contouring Face & Neck Cream is also rich in antioxidants to help minimize the visible effects of oxidative stress and support the appearance of firm, smooth skin. As a result, the skin’s surface looks lifted and more refined.

An Approach to Youthful-Looking Skin

With the Contouring Face & Neck Cream, you’ll get a powerful formula that supports the appearance of visibly younger-looking skin. Engelhardtia chrysolepis (leaf) extract has been clinically studied for its potential to support the appearance of firm, elastic skin and reduce visible signs of aging associated with glycation.

Glycation is a natural process where sugar molecules—like glucose or fructose—bind to proteins such as collagen and elastin. This leads to the formation of Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs), which can stiffen and weaken these structural proteins. Over time, AGEs contribute to visible signs of aging, including loss of firmness, fine lines, and dullness. By addressing visible signs of glycation, the cream helps promote a smoother, more resilient, and radiant-looking complexion.

Radiant, Youthful-Looking Skin

Refresh your skin with Celavive Contouring Face & Neck Cream. This product’s advanced combinations of powerful active ingredients will provide intense hydration for visibly younger-looking skin.

Celavive Perfecting Toner

Rebalance, replenish, and brighten your skin with Celavive Perfecting Toner.

Rebalance, Hydrate, and Brighten Your Skin with Celavive Perfecting Toner

Hydrate, create radiance, and promote healthy-looking skin with Celavive Perfecting Toner. A key step after cleansing, toner supports skin’s pH and prepares skin to take in moisturizer and skin treatments.

Perfecting Toner is a crucial part of your Celavive regimen. This unique formula enhances the action of your other products. You will also see a number of benefits in your skin’s appearance:

  • Reduced visibility of pores
  • Smoother-looking skin
  • Bright, even-looking skin tone
  • Refreshed, hydrated complexion

Celavive Perfecting Toner contains many potent ingredients, including BioPeptide-CS and Olivol24. It’s made without drying astringents, like alcohol or witch hazel. So, this soothing emulsion will help rebalance dry, oily, combination, or sensitive skin.

[celavivetoner]

Skin is Purified and Prepared to Absorb Products

Celavive Perfecting Toner is the perfect way to complete the cleansing process. Any traces of makeup or dirt are gently wiped away. Skin is conditioned. Impurities and blemish-causing compounds are also minimized, supporting clearer-looking skin.

Cleansing can remove natural oils from your skin. However, after cleansing, cells are more exposed to irritants and less able to absorb your skincare’s active ingredients. Celavive Perfecting Toner helps maintain the skin’s natural moisture levels and supports a healthy-looking pH.

When skin is properly cleansed and balanced, the cells are better able to absorb moisturizing and treatment products. Proper cleansing also helps to reduce the look of pores and leaves skin smooth.

Skin’s Moisture is Replenished with Celavive Perfecting Toner

In a private study, people using Celavive Perfecting Toner noticed a 180-percent increase in skin’s moisture level within the first 30 minutes of use. Skin’s moisture levels remained raised over the next three hours and beyond.

Celavive Perfecting Toner provides deep moisture to the skin. It is packed with some of the best skin hydrators:

  • Glycerin
  • Botanical Extract
  • Sodium PCA
  • Sodium Lactate
  • Tremella Mushrooms

These skin conditioners, and more, help support skin hydration by attracting and retaining moisture. When flakiness is reduced in dry skin, your complexion appears renewed.

Olivol24 is a blend of plant-based extracts that helps refresh skin and supports hydration, especially through heat and dry air. Olive-fruit extract, one of the ingredients in Olivol24, hydrates by acting like your skin’s natural oil. This similarity allows the blend to moisturize delicate, dry skin without causing irritation. Apple-, lentil-, and watermelon-fruit extracts support the natural skin barrier. This hydrating action aids the look of smooth, younger-looking skin.

Also found in Perfecting Toner, BioPeptide-CS helps support skin hydration for a refreshed, healthy-looking appearance. This unique blend of botanicals and bioactive peptides supports the skin’s natural barrier and promotes a well-nourished appearance.

Your epidermis—skin’s outermost layer—acts as a barrier. It is made of tightly packed skin cells that help retain moisture and shield the skin from environmental stressors. BioPeptide-CS helps fortify the skin barrier and nourish your skin’s natural lipids.

One of the key nutrients in BioPeptide-CS is southernwood extract (Artemisia abrotanum). This flowering plant is in the sunflower family. It is rich in carbohydrates containing a small number of simple sugars. By promoting hydration, these sugars help smooth and plump the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Applying glucosyl ceramide also benefits skin moisture. Ceramides are the major lipids found in the skin barrier.

[celavivetoner]

Skin Tone is Brightened

Reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone with the potent ingredients in Celavive Perfecting Toner. With continued use, you will see less blotchiness for refined, even-looking skin.

Protecting skin from environmental stressors helps promote a more even skin tone. Antioxidants in BioPeptides-CS help remove and destroy free radicals. And vitamin C—in the form of ascorbic acid—is a natural antioxidant that brightens and protects healthy-looking skin.

Many plant extracts also offer antioxidant protection and other benefits. A blend of seven botanical extracts in Perfecting Toner helps renew the complexion’s radiance and maintain a youthful appearance:

Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream

Lessen the look of dark circles and puffiness with Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream.

Reveal Your Eyes’ Beauty and Brightness with Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream

You still have a youthful twinkle in your eyes. Frame them with bright, younger-looking skin that exudes vivacious vitality. Celavive Triple Action Eye cream targets three key concerns: visibly reducing discoloration, diminishing puffiness, and promoting healthy skin around the eyes, mouth, and chin.

This unique formula contains bioactive peptides, botanical extracts, and plant oils to revitalize youthful-looking eyes. Treat your most delicate skin to this lightweight, ultra-hydrating formula with powerhouse ingredients like Olivol24 and BioPeptide-CS.

Applied before your day or night moisturizer, Triple Action Eye Cream is an essential part of your Celavive skincare regimen. And you’ll start seeing these visible benefits with continued use:

  • Lessened appearance of dark circles and puffiness
  • A brighter look for your eyes
  • Delicate skin around the eye appears lifted and tighter
  • Smoother appearance for youthful-looking eyes

Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream is also clinically studied to improve:

  • Wrinkles by 9%
  • Fine lines by 16%
  • Firmness by 9%
  • Elasticity by 9%
  • Radiance by 16%
  • Dark circles by 11%

Visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with this combination of bioactive peptides and botanical extracts. The formula targets key skin receptors to help your body bring out the look of your unique youthfulness.

Create a Bright Future for Your Eyes

Lessen the appearance of dark circles around your eyes. Using Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream helps you brighten your appearance and highlight that youthful sparkle in your eyes.

But how do dark circles develop in the first place? You might experience these circles for any number of reasons:

  • Family history
  • Irregular skin pigmentation
  • The pooling of blood in the area (especially after you sleep)
  • Shadows from puffiness
  • Time in the sun

As skin matures, changes in its appearance—such as increased visibility of blood vessels and uneven tone—can become more noticeable, especially around the delicate eye area. Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream features a powerful combination of ingredients that helps visibly brighten and revitalize the look of skin, targeting the appearance of dark circles and other signs of aging.

Enhance Your Eyes with Revitalizing Nutrients

Triple Action Eye Cream revitalizes and enhances the delicate skin around your eyes by supporting hydration and resilience to help your skin look and feel more vibrant.

At the heart of this cream is Olivol24, a botanical blend derived from watermelon, apple, lentil, and olive fruit that delivers 24 hours of continuous hydration while restoring a luminous glow. Complementing this ingredient is Superfood Complex, a potent mix of adaptogens from mushroom extract that supports the skin’s natural moisture barrier, ensuring long-lasting hydration and protection.

To further enrich your skin, the cream includes Abyssinian oil, packed with omega fatty acids and erucic acid to deeply nourish, soften, and improve the look of elasticity. Prickly pear oil (Opuntia ficus-indica seed oil) adds a boost of vitamin E and essential fatty acids, offering intense hydration to help moisturize and refresh the look of dull, tired skin.

Additionally, Ki’Leaft, an extract from Actinidia chinensis leaves, features polyphenols and sugars that support the natural skin barrier to promote a firmer, more hydrated appearance. Finally, Xanthophylis Extract, rich in lutein and zeaxanthin, helps support the skin’s resilience against environmental stressors like blue light, helping to reduce signs of fatigue and maintain a youthful, radiant appearance.

Multi-Peptide Formula Helps Smooth Your Skin’s Appearance

Smooth and brighten the delicate skin around your eyes with the advanced Multi-Peptide Formula in Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream. This powerful blend of bioactive peptides—including BioPeptide-CS, Haloxyl, and Matrixyl Morphomics—works to even skin tone, reduce the appearance of dark spots, and promote a more radiant, youthful complexion.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as messengers in the skin, stimulating collagen production—the key protein responsible for maintaining firmness and elasticity. As collagen naturally declines with age, these peptides help replenish and support its production, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

BioPeptide-CS, powered by USANA InCelligence Technology, features a unique combination of Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Hexapeptide-48 HCI, southernwood extract, and coffee-seed extract. This blend works to improve the appearance of key elements associated with healthy-looking skin.

The peptides in BioPeptide-CS help with hydration by supporting the skin’s natural moisture-retention processes for a more moisturized complexion. Additionally, these messengers target receptors in your skin that help promote healthy levels of hyaluronic acid for a visible plumping effect. If you’ve never heard of hyaluronic acid, it’s an important component of your skin. It has the ability to retain water, which makes it essential for skin hydration.

Other peptide-based ingredients include Haloxyl, which helps improve the appearance of dark circles and puffiness by supporting microcirculation and visibly reducing pigmentation-related discoloration, and Matrixyl Morphomics to help reduce the appearance of vertical wrinkles.

Plant Extracts that Revitalize and Protect

To further enhance the skin-smoothing and rejuvenating effects of Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream, a carefully selected blend of botanical extracts helps promote the appearance of smoother, more radiant skin by supporting surface-level hydration. These plant-based ingredients are rich in essential nutrients and antioxidants that help support the skin’s natural vitality and resilience, especially in the delicate under-eye area.

Among these is Encapsulated Liposomal Bakuchiol, a plant-derived ingredient known for its gentle benefits, sourced from the Babchi plant. This ingredient promotes the appearance of smoother, more refreshed skin by supporting visible skin revitalization while its liposomal encapsulation ensures deeper absorption and a gradual release—making it ideal for sensitive skin.

Complementing this are other powerful botanicals, including Olivol24 for long-lasting hydration and glow, the Superfood Complex to support the skin’s natural moisture barrier, and nutrient-rich oils like Abyssinian and Prickly Pear to condition the skin and promote a smoother, more supple-looking complexion. Energizing extracts like Ki’Leaft and antioxidant-rich Xanthophylis help refresh the look of skin and promote a more radiant, healthy-looking complexion.

Clinical Study

An eight-week study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Celavive Triple Action Eye Cream on the appearance of the skin around the eyes. The study included 36 women between the ages of 35 and 75, representing diverse racial backgrounds and a range of skin types, including combination, dry, and normal. Participants presented with mild to moderate under-eye puffiness, dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles, and a lack of firmness or radiance.

Subjects were instructed to apply the cream twice daily as directed to the skin around the eyes, between the brows, the marionette lines, cheeks, upper lip, and lower face. The first application was performed in the clinic immediately following baseline assessments. Product use continued for eight weeks, with measurements taken at baseline, week 2, week 4, and week 8 to assess improvements in skin appearance.

Results show that under the conditions of the test, Triple Action Eye Cream was effective in improving the cosmetic appearance of skin conditions over the course of 8 weeks, particularly improving the appearance of dark circles under the eyes by nearly 10% and reducing the visibility of fine lines by over 16%.

This graph shows the results at week 8 of the study. Subjects saw an improvement in the eye area, upper lip, marionette area, lower face, and overall radiance.

Protect and Moisturize Daily for Healthy Radiance

Your face goes through a lot every day. It’s exposed to weather and climate extremes, pollutants, or other lifestyle factors that can cause it to become dry or dehydrated. Age, too, can impact skin’s moisture levels. Declining moisture can cause your skin to look even older than you really are. And one of the biggest contributors to skin dryness and the appearance of premature aging is time spent in the sun.

So, what can you do to alleviate dry or dehydrated skin and fight the signs of aging?

While they act similarly, dehydrated skin and dry skin are different. Dry skin lacks oil and tends to flake (it often is dehydrated, too). Dehydrated skin lacks water and can feel tight, but can also be oily. Yes, oily skin can become dehydrated! In fact, dehydrated skin can cause overproduction of oil as cells work to restore a proper balance.

Most people’s skin needs more water, but not all skin needs more oil. This is why it’s important to choose a moisturizer created for your skin type.

Applying the right facial moisturizer daily can help keep skin looking youthful and vibrant. These formulas replenish dry or dehydrated skin with ingredients that attract and lock in moisture. Proper hydration helps ensure your skin’s moisture barrier function normally, so your skin doesn’t show signs of wrinkles prematurely. You can also support skin hydration from the inside by drinking plenty of water and eating omega-3 or linoleic fatty acids in your diet.

Diligently using sunscreen and smart sun protection are also crucial for supporting long-term skin health. Damage from sun exposure poses a series of serious problems for the skin. Sunburn can cause wrinkles, dark spots, and can increase the risk of skin cancer. Dermatologists recommend that you protect your skin from the sun’s damaging rays in three key ways:

  1. Limiting sun exposure, especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  2. Wearing protective hats and clothing
  3. Applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every day, even if it’s cloudy or you aren’t planning on spending time outdoors

Celavive® Protective Day Cream and Lotion Replenish Moisture for a Healthy, Firmer Appearance

Rehydrate and soften the look of your skin for an instant boost of luminosity and reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with your Celavive daytime moisturizer. Each formula is made with the emollients best suited for your skin type. Both also deliver powerful active ingredients to replenish moisture, including shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii), nourishing plant extracts, and the exclusive Celavive Olivol Botanical Blend.

Shea butter is a rich moisturizer. Extracted from nuts of the African shea tree, shea butter has been used for years as an emollient in moisturizers and lotions. It contains large amounts of long-chain fatty acids, which absorb quickly to help restore moisture and support healthy collagen—a key structural protein that keeps your skin looking firm.

Supporting lipids in the top layer of your skin also helps skin look firmer. A unique soybean (Glycine soja) extract in the Celavive moisturizers acts like a natural lipid found in your skin’s moisture barrier known as ceramide-3. The outermost layer of the skin is comprised of high levels of ceramides—as much as 50 percent of total lipid composition. By helping your skin retain water in the lipid barrier, this extract delivers nourishing hydration.

The Olivol Botanical Blend sets Celavive apart from other moisturizers. It gives your skin a full 24-hour boost of skin-plumping hydration. Your skin’s natural moisture is enhanced with science-backed botanicals: Olivol olive (Olea europaea) fruit extract, plus watermelon-rind (Citrullus lanatus), apple (Pyrus malus), and lentil (Lens esculenta) fruit extracts. This soothing blend helps skin capture and keep water to reinforce your skin-barrier’s protective moisture.

To help fight flakiness and deliver even more hydration to dry, sensitive skin, Protective Day Cream contains oil- and fatty-acid based moisturizers. This includes caprylic/capric triglyceride, which is derived from coconut oil and glycerin. Salicornia herbacea comes from a plant that grows in the salt marshes along the coastline of South Korea. It delivers an added boost of moisture to enhance natural hyaluronic acid.

Defend Against Visible Signs of Aging with Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 (PA++) Sunscreen

There is perhaps nothing more important for maintaining skin’s health and youthful appearance than protecting it from the sun’s damaging rays. This is why the American Academy of Dermatology recommends you apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF 30 or higher every day before you go outside.

There are two types of ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun that can harm your skin: UVA and UVB. UVA rays can age the skin, causing wrinkles and age spots. UVB rays can burn your skin. Both are potentially harmful. So, you want a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect your skin from both.

A broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 should block most rays effectively on most days. Sun protection factor (SPF) is based on how long it takes to sunburn skin that’s been treated with sunscreen compared to no sunscreen. It does not measure the effects of UVA.

Celavive daytime moisturizers use four UV filters for effective and safe broad-spectrum sun protection. UV filters have been shown to work more effectively when formulated together. This is because they can filter a broader spectrum of light when used together and provide more complete coverage on the skin.

The four UV filters in the Celavive Daytime Protective Lotion and Cream that help prevent sunburn are as follows:

  • Avobenzone—protects primarily against UVA rays but offers some protection against UVB as well
  • Octocrylene—a moisturizing sunscreen that absorbs UVB light and also helps stabilize Avobenzone, which can degrade in light over time
  • Homosalate—absorbs UVB rays
  • Octinoxate—an effective UVB absorber

Your Celavive daytime moisturizer provides even more protection against the effects of the sun’s rays with rejuvenating sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) hairy root culture extract. Basil extract helps keep the skin looking healthy with coverage and protection from the sun. In addition to antioxidant activity, this extract also offers benefits for conditioning and soothing the skin after sun exposure to keep visual imperfections and blemishes at bay.

Please note that on the days you spend outdoors, a higher SPF doesn’t mean you can spend more time in the sun without reapplying. No matter what SPF you use, reapply every two hours. For even more defense against visible aging, apply the topical antioxidants in Celavive Vitalizing Serum under your sunscreen.

Reveal Beautifully Smooth, Luminous Skin

When your skin is hydrated, it looks dewy and luminous. To further revitalize your skin, Celavive Daytime Protective Cream and Lotion include unique botanical extracts to give the skin a tightened, toned appearance.

A complex of Korean (Panax ginseng), American (Panax quinquefolium), and Siberian (Acanthopanax senticosus) ginseng extracts provides antioxidant and firming action for a youthful look. Asian women have used ginseng as part of their beauty routine for hundreds of years. The extracts contain many revitalizing bioactive compounds, including ginsenosides, polysaccharides, phytosterols, peptides, fatty acids, and more. The compounds in ginseng can promote the appearance of a bright, even skin tone.

To refine the look of pores, Eijitsu rose (Rosa multiflora) extract helps condition and tighten the skin. A source of flavonoids, this flower is native to Asia. It helps balance oil to help minimize the appearance of pores for a radiant skin tone and smooth texture.

Frequently Asked Questions About Celavive Protective Day Cream and Day Lotion

Many markets share the same formulas for our Celavive Protective Day Cream and Protective Day Lotion.* However, regulations for cosmetic products vary in every country, which impacts the claims allowable on product packaging.

Currently (as of March 2026), there is no SPF (sun protection factor) rating on Celavive day moisturizers in Canada. And Australia/New Zealand receives a product labeled as SPF 15.

In the case of Canada, sunscreens are regulated as pharmaceutical drugs. In Australia/New Zealand, moisturizers containing sunscreen with an SPF greater than 15 are regulated as therapeutic goods. As such, the requirements and regulations to make the same SPF 30 claim would have increased the product cost. Therefore, the SPF claim was removed or altered as determined necessary for best availability.

*In general, formulas for Celavive Daytime Protective Cream and Lotion are shared as follows:

  • United States, Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Mexico, share a formula. With the US and Mexico being able to claim SPF 30.
  • Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea share a formula. All markets within this region can claim SPF 30.

A clinical study was conducted by USANA Health Sciences to evaluate the efficacy and tolerance of Celavive Resurfacing Serum. Celavive Resurfacing Serum is a topical skincare product that contains a blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids, niacinamide, peptides, and bakuchiol.

Study Design

The study included 33 women with mild to moderate skin concerns. They used USANA Resurfacing serum for 12 weeks. The women came from different races and ethnicities, and they were between 39 and 65 years old, with an average age of 56.

Clinical skin measurements were taken before the participants began using Resurfacing Serum, and again after using the product for 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks. The participants also completed a self-assessment questionnaire to evaluate how they felt about their skin after using the product.

Results

Resurfacing Serum was well-tolerated by all the subjects. Users showed statistically significant improvements in the appearance of their skin in just two weeks. These measurements further improved as they continued to use the product through weeks 4, 8, and 12.

Over 80% reported that it was the best their skin had felt in a long time. Some of the specific improvements they saw were that Resurfacing Serum helped their skin appear clearer, firmer, and more radiant. It helped reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. They also reported that the product was easy to use, and 97% of them said that they would recommend the product to others.

Visual Results

Key Findings

  • Results were visible in as little as four weeks
  • Over the 12-week study clinical measurements showed a:
    • 23% reduction in acute hyperpigmentation
    • 15.8% reduction in the appearance of fine lines
    • 11.6% reduction in the appearance of pores
    • 8.9% improvement in skin clarity
    • 8.6% improvement in skin radiance
  • 81.8% of participants reported it was the best their skin had felt in a long time
  • 97% of participants would recommend the product

Daily life takes strength. From lifting your latest haul of groceries to carrying your growing toddler up the stairs to conquering your fitness goals. Keeping your muscles strong requires regular exercise and consuming enough protein. This essential macronutrient provides the amino acids that are vital for building and maintaining healthy lean muscle mass.

USANA Whey Protein Isolate is formulated for athletes, aging individuals, and anyone who needs more protein in their diet to reach their daily recommended intake. With only four ingredients total, this formula simplifies a classic supplement product.

Benefits of USANA Whey Protein Isolate:

  • Supports muscle growth
  • Recovery support
  • Weight management
  • Supports muscle retention
  • Easily digestible
  • Great as a post workout
  • Full amino acid profile supports overall nutrition

Each serving is packed with 25 grams of 100% pure, grass-fed whey protein, without the fillers and sugar you might find in other protein powders on the shelves. Isolate protein is its most bioavailable form, so your body can easily absorb and utilize the maximum amount of protein in each scoop. With a nearly flavorless profile, Whey Protein Isolate mixes well with any liquid or food you choose to combine it with, while tasting great on its own.

Whether you’re a frequent gym goer looking to build lean muscle mass, a casually active person looking to support overall nutrition, or someone concerned about healthy aging, everyone can benefit from added protein in their daily diet.

Whey is a byproduct of milk and cheese production. It comes from the watery part of milk that separates from curds, the solid clumps that form during cheese production. It is a completely safe and natural food that contains all nine essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

Boost Your Protein Intake to Fuel Your Muscles

Across the world, people are not consuming enough protein from quality sources. This is especially concerning for elderly people, active individuals, and athletes. Everyone needs adequate amounts of protein for optimal health.

Protein deficiency can impair your immune system, stunt your growth, weaken your bones and muscles, and much more. It also becomes especially important to focus on maintaining muscle as you get older. Muscle mass and function are gradually lost over the years. By age 60, you may begin to lose the muscle strength and function needed to stay independent and energetic into your senior years (especially if you tend to have a more sedentary lifestyle). And this decline can be even more pronounced in post-menopausal women.

The good news is that some muscle loss can be avoided. Mature individuals can help maintain a good quality of life through working to stay strong by exercising regularly and by supporting muscle maintenance by consuming enough protein.

Because protein helps you feel fuller, longer, it may help you eat less if you’re trying to cut calories. And protein’s benefits for weight management don’t stop there. Muscles tend to burn more calories than fat, even when you’re at rest. So, by helping to maintain your lean body mass, a diet with increased protein can help support efficient energy metabolism.

By incorporating USANA Whey Protein Isolate into your diet, you’ll support a variety of long-term health benefits: muscle growth and retention, healthy aging, weight management, and overall nutrition.

Understanding Protein’s Role in the Body

Protein is an important part of a healthy diet. Proteins are made up of chemical building blocks called amino acids. On a biochemical level, your body uses amino acids to synthesize proteins that support a wide variety of structures and functions throughout the body.

Protein plays a role in:

  1. Growth and Repair: Protein repairs and builds muscle. But it’s also involved in repairing other tissues, like skin, hair, nails, and bone.
  2. Energy: Protein supports energy production, but it can also be used as an energy source itself.
  3. Immunity: The antibodies your body needs to fight infections and illness are made of amino acids that come from your dietary protein.
  4. Oxygenation: Protein is needed for your blood to carry oxygen throughout the body.
  5. Metabolism: Your protein intake supports a healthy metabolism, which burns more calories throughout the day.
  6. Hormones and Enzymes: Practically all hormones and enzymes in the body are proteins made from the amino acids in the protein you consume.

The body doesn’t store protein the way it stores carbohydrates or fats. That’s why protein intake from your diet is so important.

How Much Protein Do I Need?

To maintain health, the Institute of Medicine recommends most people consume eight grams of protein for every 20 lbs. of body weight per day (.8 g/kg).

If you’re trying to manage your weight, higher intakes also may be needed. Research has shown that it’s important to consume more protein than your usual intake to see improvements. You may need about 37 percent more protein than the general recommendation, or 11 grams for every 20 lbs. of body weight (1.2 g/kg).

Athletes, too, need more protein. If you’re very active, aim to consume up to 18 grams of protein for every 20 lbs. of body weight per day, depending on the intensity of training.

Let’s look at a couple examples.

Mary is 35 years old and weighs 150 lbs. She exercises daily, but otherwise works at a sedentary desk job. That means she would need around 60 grams of protein per day to maintain her health. She should aim for about 82 grams of protein per day if she is focused on managing her weight.

Joe is a 150-pound professional athlete. So, he exercises strenuously and for extended lengths of time daily. That means he could need up to 135 grams of protein per day.

But that’s not all you need to consider for the best results.

The key to maximizing the benefits of your protein consumption is spreading it into roughly equal amounts at every meal. This is a more effective approach for building muscle than skewing protein intake toward only one or two meals. So, once you’ve calculated how much protein you need, divide that equally across the number of meals/snacks you generally eat every day.

If you’re interested in learning more about the scientific research behind protein recommendations, the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) is a great place to start. Bringing together top experts from various fields: nutritionists, biologists, medical practitioners, clinical researchers, and more, the ISSN’s work on protein intake is highly regarded across the world.

Do you ever feel restless when it’s time for sleep? Like your mind or body just isn’t tired yet? If so, you are not alone. Sometimes your nervous system needs some help getting the message. That it’s late, you have a busy day tomorrow, and it’s time for bed.

USANA Rest Complete is a comprehensive sleep supplement that helps your body and mind prepare for bedtime. Take Rest Complete one hour before bedtime to relax your muscles, reduce anxiety, and promote restful sleep.*

Rest Complete contains:

  • Melatonin to help promote drowsiness and restful sleep*
  • Ashwagandha to calm your mind and reduce anxiety*
  • GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) and L-theanine to calm your nerves and relax your muscles*

Sleep is essential for recharging your body and mind. It helps ensure that you feel fresh and alert as you live your life. Sleep supports brain functions like concentration, clear thinking, and memory processing. It also helps regulate emotions, supports your ability to manage stress, consolidates memories for learning, and improves decision making and problem-solving abilities.

Sleep is important for your physical health too. Good sleep helps aid in the healing and repair of all muscles, tissues, and your individual cells. Additionally, sleep supports the immune system to fight off infections. Sleep also affects hormones that control appetite, which can influence body weight. In essence, sleep is as vital to our survival as food and water. It impacts nearly every type of tissue and system in your body.

Unfortunately, when sleep doesn’t come easily, its benefits remain just out of reach. There are many different reasons that you might have trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep through the night.

Outside factors like staying up late watching tv or looking at your phone can disrupt your sleep for hours after the lights go out. Internal thoughts and worries about family, work, finances, or even worrying about sleep itself can also make it hard to quiet your mind and find rest.

Melatonin Helps Support Your Natural Sleep Cycle

Melatonin is a hormone that plays a crucial role in initiating sleep. It is synthesized in the brain’s pineal gland. Its primary function is to regulate the body’s sleep-wake cycles. In essence, it helps keep your body in sync with the 24-hour cycle of the sun.

Melatonin production is halted during daylight hours. Then, as daylight fades and evening approaches, melatonin production increases. Throughout the night, elevated melatonin levels cue your body that it’s time to rest.

Modern life frequently exposes us to artificial lighting at night. It comes from the TV, phone screens, or the lights throughout your home. This light inhibits melatonin production and can disrupt your natural circadian rhythm—the body’s internal clock. When that happens, it can be difficult to wind down for sleep and get a good night’s rest.

Consider Rest Complete to ensure consistent melatonin levels throughout the night. Rest Complete is designed to align your body with the Earth’s natural cycle of light and darkness, fostering a more organic sleep rhythm. Taking Rest Complete roughly an hour before sleep can lead to reduced alertness, increased drowsiness, and ultimately sleep.*

Melatonin supplementation has other uses too. For those concerned that sleep deprivation might disrupt a holiday or cause tiredness during a business trip, melatonin is an ideal travel partner. It’s known to alleviate jet lag, particularly when traveling across multiple time zones. Melatonin can help realign your body and mind with the 24-hour light and dark cycle found in your travel destination.

Beyond aiding sleep, melatonin also contributes to cellular health. It functions as an antioxidant, scavenging free radicals, and bolstering the body’s endogenous antioxidant enzymes. By combating oxidative stress that damages cells, melatonin not only supports sleep but also enhances the body’s restorative activities during slumber.

Rest Complete Helps You Feel Calm and Eases Your Mind

Lights might not be the only thing keeping you up at night. When life becomes busy and hectic, it can be difficult to turn your mind off when it comes time to go to sleep. Rest Complete takes a holistic approach to helping you sleep, and helps you address a variety of different aspects that might be keeping you up at night.*

Rest Complete contains Ashwagandha, which is known to have a myriad of health benefits. This potent herb is included in Rest Complete because it helps regulate cortisol and neurotransmitter levels, contributing to a balanced stress response.*

Ashwagandha works by modulating the body’s stress mechanisms in a way that mimics the effects of mild stress without causing any adverse effects. This process effectively boosts your body’s adaptability, enabling you to stay calm amidst various kinds of stress—physical, mental, or environmental.

Ashwagandha has other benefits such as antioxidant properties, and physiological and psychological benefits. It is known to promote a sense of tranquility and aids in sustaining cognitive functions. This combination of benefits helps put your mind at ease, which is conducive to restful sleep.

Rest Complete Helps Calm Your Nerves and Muscles

Rest Complete contains GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid)—a neurotransmitter that helps to calm the body and mind by turning off wakefulness and quieting nerve activity. It also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that signals to your body that it needs to make more GABA too. This helps maintain elevated GABA levels in your body throughout the night.*

GABA is an amino acid neurotransmitter. It helps facilitate communication between neurons. Notably, GABA functions as an inhibitory neurotransmitter, halting some message transmissions and slowing the rate of other neural communications.

The collection of neurons that utilize GABA, known as the GABAergic system, act as a regulatory mechanism akin to a brake pedal. It helps slow down the transmission of information, lessen the actions of other neurotransmitters, and lower the excitation of brain neurons.

The experience of stress, anxiety, or fear is often linked to excessive neuronal activity and stimulation. GABA’s reputation for fostering relaxation and a sense of calm is tied to its ability to counteract such overactivity.

In the realm of sleep regulation, GABA plays a pivotal role. When it’s time to rest, the GABAergic system intensifies its function, soothing the nervous system and inducing tranquility. This process aids in the shift from wakefulness to the initial sleep stage and beyond. Hormones such as melatonin target GABA receptors to further enhance the calming action of the GABAergic system.

A Brighter You with Celavive Resurfacing Serum

A flawless, translucent skin tone can be yours with the help of this high-performance serum. Apply Celavive Resurfacing Serum twice daily to reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone.

This advanced serum helps to visibly refine your overall complexion with ingredients that will make visible discoloration virtually disappear. Mandelic acid, Niacinamide, Glycolic acid, peptides, and much more come together to fade the appearance of dark spots and brighten the skin. They work by dispersing the appearance of discoloration on the surface of your skin, making it invisible to the eye. As the pigment is diffused, your skin tone will look bright, even, and flawless.

In only a couple of months, you’ll no longer need to apply heavy concealers or foundation to create a uniform skin tone. But Resurfacing Serum doesn’t just work to make skin look brighter and more even. It helps keep it that way, too.

How to Use Celavive Resurfacing Serum

Celavive Resurfacing Serum can help even out the appearance of your skin tone, reduce dark spots, and give your skin a radiant glow. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use Celavive Resurfacing Serum.

  1. Cleanse

      • Gentle Milk Cleanser
      • Postbiotic Calming Cleanser

  2. Tone (Optional)

    • Give the serum a couple minutes to absorb into the skin before applying other products
  4. Moisturize
    • Follow up with a moisturizer to lock in the serum and hydrate your skin
      • Protective Day Cream SPF 30
      • Protective Day Lotion SPF 30
      • Replenishing Night Cream
      • Replenishing Night Gel
      • Postbiotic Soothing Moisturizer

By following these steps, you’ll effectively incorporate Celavive Resurfacing Serum into your skincare routine and enjoy a more radiant complexion.

What Causes Skin Discoloration?

Melanin is the pigment made in the top layer of your skin that’s the source of your skin color. Beyond that, its main role is protecting your skin by absorbing ultraviolet (UV) rays.

The types and amounts of melanin made in your skin can vary. They are controlled by your genes and can be influenced by internal and external factors, such as age, hormones, and environmental stressors like exposure to UV light.

Too much sunlight is one of the major causes of excess melanin production. With more and more sun exposure, a pocket of concentrated melanin can form that extends deep within your skin. This can show up as a dark spot or as blotchy, uneven skin tone. This hyperpigmentation usually appears on the face, arms, hands, chest—any areas regularly exposed to the sun.

Usually, discoloration, age spots, and uneven skin tone are perfectly safe (just make sure to ask your doctor about large, irregularly shaped spots that are very dark or have multiple colors). But you may dislike how it looks and want a solution.

Because the concentrated melanin extends more deeply into your skin layers, it can’t simply be scrubbed away. It takes consistent use of effective topical products to fade the appearance of discoloration as your skin cells renew over time. And constant protection from the sun is required to maintain skin’s brightness and translucence.

Noteworthy Ingredients:

Niacinamide 2%

There are many ingredients that can lighten the skin’s appearance. Some of the most common are hydroquinone, retinoids, and azelaic acid. However, these may cause skin sensitivity and irritation.

There is a gentler option that’s been well-studied and found to be effective for refining the skin’s appearance. It’s a form of vitamin B3 called niacinamide (also known as nicotinamide).

Niacinamide is a key ingredient of Celavive Resurfacing Serum. Topical application of this vitamin soothes and moisturizes as it helps visibly balance skin tone and boost radiance. Clinical trials have shown it can reduce the appearance of discoloration, when used twice a day.

One study included 18 subjects with hyperpigmentation who used a five percent niacinamide moisturizer and plain moisturizer in a paired design. There was noticeably less visible pigmentation and increased luminosity in the niacinamide group after four weeks.

A second study of 50 women, ages 40 to 60, found that a five percent niacinamide cream provided significant improvements in the appearance of hyperpigmentation, skin tone, and texture after 12 weeks.

Skin brighteners tend to work best when used in combination. In addition to niacinamide, Celavive Resurfacing Serum contains unique ingredients that will help further reduce the appearance of discoloration and beautifully balance your complexion.

Mandelic Acid

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) are often used in skincare to smooth visible fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin tone appearance. Mandelic acid is a type of AHA originally derived from almonds. Its molecular structure is larger than other AHA’s, which slows down its penetration into the skin compared to other AHA’s. This slower penetration significantly lowers its irritation potential to the skin, making this a very gentle ingredient suitable for sensitive skin.

In this formula, Mandelic Acid helps conceal the appearance of acne, blemishes, dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-40

Telangyn is an innovative peptide complex designed to reduce visible redness in the skin. Peptides are used in skincare, especially for sensitive skin. They also have high potency and efficacy even at a low dosage.

This peptide complex also targets telangiectasia, which refers to the small blood vessels or spider veins that can appear on the skin. Telangiectasia is harmless but may not be very appealing to have on your face.

Telangyn peptide complex helps conceal hyperpigmentation, the appearance of redness and dilated blood vessels, and improves skin tone.

Nonapeptide-1

Nonapeptide-1 is a peptide designed to reduce dark spots, even out skin tone, and conceal the appearance of skin spots related to the hyperproduction of melanin. It doesn’t interfere with the natural function of your melanocytes and therefore doesn’t cause any damage to your cellular function, making it an ideal ingredient to support the appearance of the skin.Glycolic & Lactic Acids

Glycolic and Lactic acids are are a potent exfoliant for the skin. They help to remove dead skin cells and reveal smoother, brighter skin. They are designed to help diffuse AHA’s onto the surface of the skin in a controlled and balanced way. Thes ingredients boost exfoliation without irritating the skin.

Bakuchiol 1%

Retinol and retinoids have been used to counter the visible effects of premature aging from UV radiation (sunlight). The problem with retinol is that it can sometimes be poorly tolerated by the skin and cause irritation. Bakuchiol oil is an alternative that doesn’t have any of the negatives associated with Retinol. Bakuchiol is a phytochemical compound derived from Psoralea corylifolia, a plant historically used in Indian and Chinese traditional medicine.

Research has shown that Bakuchiol may help conceal hyperpigmentation and wrinkles as efficiently as retinol without side effects.

In this formula, Bakuchiol helps calm visible redness. The antioxidants in the extract help support the look of firmer skin, with fewer lines and wrinkles. And they keep existing discoloration from looking darker after sun exposure. Overall, Bakuchiol oil aids in overall skin health and radiance.

White Willow Bark 5%

Salicin, a natural source of salicylic acid, is extracted from white willow bark and has been researched for its wide-spectrum benefits for the skin.

In one clinical study, salicin was found to improve the appearance of wrinkles, roughness, pore size, radiance, and overall appearance in as little as one week.

Identity

Identifying the beneficial components of the finished good and each raw material is the next step of the quality control process.

Following manufacturing, every batch is reviewed and approved to meet good manufacturing practices and product specifications for each raw material and the finished good. The identity for each raw material within the product must meet the identity specified on the product label.

For raw materials, each batch of raw material is sampled, inspected, and analytically tested. They’re tested to ensure that the raw material contains the desired nutrients in the right form and concentration.

Each raw material has its own specific testing procedure and method. An overview of the test method and a sample method for Meriva Curcumin can be found below.

Ingredient Test Method
Biotin LCMS
Choline LCMS
Milk Thistle Extract HPTLC and HPLC
N-Acetyl L-Cysteine HPLC and FTIR
Alpha-Lipoic Acid HPLC

Composition

Each ingredient has its own composition that is tested and verified by USANA before it can be used in manufacturing. For example, milk thistle has a huge number of different components in the plant, and those could be found in a variety of different proportions within a raw material. Silymarin is the primary component of interest by USANA scientists when they designed this product. So, the milk thistle used in Hepasil DTX is verified to have a composition of 80% silymarin.

The milk thistle extract is also reviewed for other beneficial components, source location, and potential allergens. A similar analysis is performed for every raw material used in Hepasil DTX.

Tablet composition is important to make sure that your body can digest the tablet, and that individual nutrients reach and benefit your cells. This starts with the research and development process, where the product is formulated. The active ingredients aren’t the only important part of a tablet. Additional ingredients must be added to make everything form into a solid and durable tablet, but also one that can be easily broken down in the body.

After the right combination of ingredients is determined, the tablet can finally go into production. Every finished batch of product is analyzed and tested for weight, thickness, disintegration, friability (tendency to break), and hardness.

Hepasil DTX Composition

Appearance: Hepasil DTX is a coated Bi-Layer tablet. One layer is white to off white; the other layer is tan to beige. Some color variation is normal.

Weight: 980 mg

Thickness: 6.6 mm

Disintegration: 100% disintegration in ≤ 20 minutes

Strength

Finally, finished products are tested to have the strength and potency guaranteed on the labels—one of the main reasons why people trust their health to USANA. This requires repeating many of the purity tests from the individual tests from the identification step above. Adjustments are made to the methods as needed, due to differences between a finished good and raw materials.

Stability testing is also performed to guarantee the potency of the product throughout shelf-life.

Long-Term Product Stability

Vitamins, plant compounds, and other nutrients can oxidize and degrade over time. Over time, this can result in the level of these nutrients being lower than the amount listed on the level. However, a properly formulated product helps to counteract this risk and guarantee the viability of the product throughout its shelf-life. This includes meeting at least 100% label claim throughout shelf-life.

Long-term stability testing is necessary to test product formulation. This ensures that there are no significant physical, chemical, or microbiological changes to the Hepasil DTX Bi-Layer tablet that would negatively impact its beneficial properties for the consumer.

Stability studies are conducted on Hepasil DTX following guidelines set forth by the U.S. FDA, Canada NHPD, Australia’s TGA, and the ICH. The product is tested for potency and purity at the date of manufacture, then samples are placed in a controlled test environment. The test environment is maintained at 25 ± 2 °C and 60 ± 5% relative humidity throughout the shelf-life of the product (24 months from the date of manufacture).

Samples are pulled from the stability batch at 12 and 24 months. Potency of the active ingredients is tested at both of these intervals, and the 24-month sample is tested for biological contamination.

Government and Third-Party Validation

A tremendous amount of research goes into formulating, manufacturing, and testing each USANA product. You don’t have to take our word for it though. USANA facilities and manufacturing processes are regularly audited by outside organizations, finished products have a variety of certifications, and products are studied in collaboration with research organizations around the world.
