What is cell signaling?

Cell signaling is the communication system that our body’s’ cells and organs use to communicate with each other. A well-known example of this would be the maintenance of blood sugar levels in our body. When blood sugar levels increase, the pancreas releases insulin to signal to other cells that they need to uptake glucose, which reduces glucose in the blood.

USANA’s InCelligence technology uses nutrients that alter cell signaling pathways within the human body, to elicit a beneficial effect.
