Une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans l\u2019<em>American Journal of Clinical Nutrition<\/em>\u00a0a compar\u00e9 les effets d\u2019une activit\u00e9 physique intensive sur la r\u00e9ponse de la partie centrale du cerveau stimul\u00e9e par des images d\u2019aliments.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre de cette \u00e9tude, 15 hommes au d\u00e9but de la vingtaine, minces et en sant\u00e9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 soumis \u00e0 deux tests de 60 minutes\u00a0: une activit\u00e9 physique (courir \u00e0 une capacit\u00e9 a\u00e9robique maximale de 70\u00a0%) et une p\u00e9riode contr\u00f4l\u00e9e de repos. Apr\u00e8s chaque test, ils devaient visionner des images d\u2019aliments hypercaloriques et peu caloriques; la r\u00e9ponse du cerveau \u00e9tait alors mesur\u00e9e par IRM.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la s\u00e9ance d\u2019exercice, la soif et la temp\u00e9rature corporelle avaient augment\u00e9, tandis que l\u2019app\u00e9tit avait consid\u00e9rablement diminu\u00e9. L\u2019activit\u00e9 physique avait consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duit l\u2019action de la ghr\u00e9line (une hormone qui stimule l\u2019app\u00e9tit) et accru la lib\u00e9ration de PYY-36 (une hormone qui favorise la perte d\u2019app\u00e9tit). Comparativement \u00e0 la p\u00e9riode contr\u00f4l\u00e9e de repos, l\u2019activit\u00e9 des neurones dans les zones du cerveau associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la r\u00e9compense avait \u00e9t\u00e9 stimul\u00e9e par les images d\u2019aliments peu caloriques, mais frein\u00e9e par les images d\u2019aliments hypercaloriques.<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu\u2019une activit\u00e9 physique intensive accro\u00eet l\u2019activit\u00e9 des neurones dans les zones du cerveau associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la r\u00e9compense, stimul\u00e9es par des images d\u2019aliments peu caloriques, mais inhibe leur activit\u00e9 pendant le visionnement d\u2019aliments hypercaloriques.
