Des tests cliniques et fonctionnels (palpation de la ligne articulaire, \u00ab\u00a0marche en canard\u00a0\u00bb sur 3\u00a0m et mont\u00e9e r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e d\u2019escaliers), avec en plus l\u2019administration de deux questionnaires diff\u00e9rents, ont permis d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019\u00e9volution de la douleur aux genoux et du fonctionnement des genoux.<\/p>\n<p>Sur le plan de la qualit\u00e9 de vie, le groupe prenant de la glucosamine a obtenu des r\u00e9sultats nettement meilleurs \u00e0 la 8<sup>e<\/sup> et la 12<sup>e<\/sup> semaines que ceux du groupe placebo. Dans leur auto-\u00e9valuation de l\u2019\u00e9volution de la douleur aux genoux pendant la p\u00e9riode de prise de suppl\u00e9ments sur 12 semaines, 88\u00a0% des sujets prenant de la glucosamine ont signal\u00e9 une certaine am\u00e9lioration contre seulement 17\u00a0% chez les sujets du groupe placebo.<\/p>\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats donnent \u00e0 entendre que les suppl\u00e9ments de glucosamine peuvent apporter un certain soulagement de la douleur et une fonction am\u00e9lior\u00e9e chez les personnes souffrant d\u2019une douleur chronique aux genoux en raison d\u2019un cartilage endommag\u00e9 ou de l\u2019arthrose.
