La pr\u00e9sence de mati\u00e8res grasses dans le sang constitue en effet l\u2019un des principaux facteurs contribuant \u00e0 l\u2019ath\u00e9roscl\u00e9rose, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire l\u2019obstruction partielle des art\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les cellules musculaires des personnes pratiquant un exercice a\u00e9robique prolong\u00e9 sont capables de d\u00e9composer rapidement ce gras appel\u00e9 triglyc\u00e9ride et d\u2019en abaisser le taux. Mieux encore, la prise d\u2019un suppl\u00e9ment d\u2019huile de poisson peut \u00e9galement contribuer \u00e0 en favoriser la r\u00e9duction.<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les niveaux de triglyc\u00e9rides chez quatre groupes d\u2019hommes pratiquant des activit\u00e9s de loisir apr\u00e8s qu\u2019ils aient consomm\u00e9 un repas riche en mati\u00e8res grasses. Avant de manger, le premier groupe s\u2019est entra\u00een\u00e9, le deuxi\u00e8me a pris un suppl\u00e9ment de 4\u00a0g d\u2019huile de poisson et le troisi\u00e8me s\u2019est entra\u00een\u00e9 et a pris le suppl\u00e9ment d\u2019huile de poisson; le groupe t\u00e9moin a quant \u00e0 lui simplement mang\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une r\u00e9duction de 38\u00a0% des niveaux maximums de triglyc\u00e9rides chez les hommes du second groupe, alors que les niveaux \u00e9taient r\u00e9duits de moiti\u00e9 chez les hommes du troisi\u00e8me groupe.<\/p>\n<p>Il peut donc \u00eatre b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour les gens ayant \u00e0 c\u0153ur de maintenir un niveau sain de triglyc\u00e9rides de pratiquer un exercice r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement et de prendre des suppl\u00e9ments d\u2019huile de poisson.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9tude similaire a montr\u00e9 que la combinaison de suppl\u00e9ments d\u2019huile de poisson et d\u2019exercice r\u00e9gulier am\u00e9liorait \u00e0 la fois la composition corporelle et les facteurs de risque de cardiopathie. Les participants en surpoids pr\u00e9sentant divers facteurs de risque de cardiopathie ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9partis en trois groupes\u00a0: celui prenant de l\u2019huile de poisson (\u00e0 raison d\u2019environ 1,9\u00a0g\/jour d\u2019acides gras om\u00e9ga-3), celui prenant de l\u2019huile de poisson et faisant de l\u2019exercice (marche de 45 minutes trois fois\/semaine) et le groupe placebo (huile de tournesol). Les facteurs de risque de cardiopathie et la composition corporelle ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9s apr\u00e8s 0, 6 et 12 semaines. Le premier groupe pr\u00e9sentait une r\u00e9duction consid\u00e9rable du taux de triglyc\u00e9rides, une augmentation du cholest\u00e9rol LHD et une am\u00e9lioration de la vasodilatation art\u00e9rielle (d\u00e9bit sanguin).
