La rigidit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle est un facteur de risque sp\u00e9cifique de maladie cardiovasculaire, mais un lien sp\u00e9cifique entre la consommation d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3 et une am\u00e9lioration de la rigidit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle n\u2019avait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli jusqu\u2019ici.<\/p>\n<p>En utilisant une m\u00e9ta-analyse, des chercheurs ont r\u00e9cemment men\u00e9 une \u00e9tude afin de quantifier les effets des om\u00e9ga-3 sur la rigidit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle et son association avec les maladies cardiovasculaires. Plusieurs bases de donn\u00e9es ainsi que des registres d\u2019essais cliniques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s pour obtenir des donn\u00e9es randomis\u00e9es et contr\u00f4l\u00e9es provenant d\u2019essais cliniques sur des adultes humains portant sur le lien entre rigidit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle et consommation d\u2019om\u00e9ga-3. Dix essais ont r\u00e9pondu aux crit\u00e8res finaux d\u2019inclusion. Ces \u00e9tudes comprenaient des r\u00e9sultats qui utilisaient la vitesse d\u2019onde pulsatile (VOP) et la conformit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle afin de mesurer la rigidit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9ta-analyse a confirm\u00e9 que la suppl\u00e9mentation d\u2019acides gras om\u00e9ga-3 est efficace dans l\u2019am\u00e9lioration significative de la rigidit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle comme mesur\u00e9e par la VOP et la conformit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle. Les r\u00e9sultats n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 influenc\u00e9s par la prise en compte des variations de tension art\u00e9rielle, de rythme cardiaque ni d\u2019IMC.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats de la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude d\u00e9montrent que la suppl\u00e9mentation d\u2019acides gras om\u00e9ga-3 (typiquement issus d\u2019huile de poisson) peut aider \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le risque de maladie cardiovasculaire en partie en r\u00e9duisant la rigidit\u00e9 art\u00e9rielle, qui est un facteur de risque connu de maladie cardiovasculaire.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/22005318\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pase MP, Grima NA, Sarris J.
