De nos jours, il existe des centaines d\u2019options que l\u2019on peut int\u00e9grer au t\u00e9l\u00e9phone et aux chaussures, ou encore accrocher aux v\u00eatements ou porter au poignet. En moyenne, les participants ont consacr\u00e9 chaque jour 4,2 heures \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8re et 1,7 heure \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 de moyenne \u00e0 soutenue.<\/p>\n<p>Pendant la p\u00e9riode d\u2019observation de 6,6 ans, 700 d\u00e9c\u00e8s sont survenus. Par rapport aux participants s\u00e9dentaires six heures par jour, les sujets s\u00e9dentaires huit heures par jour avaient un taux de mortalit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieur de 14\u00a0% et ce taux grimpait \u00e0 29\u00a0% chez ceux dont la s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 \u00e9tait de 10 heures par jour. Une heure de s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 \u00e9tait associ\u00e9e en moyenne \u00e0 un risque de mortalit\u00e9 accru de 12\u00a0%. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique \u00e9tait associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une baisse de la mortalit\u00e9 et elle att\u00e9nuait les effets d\u2019un style de vie par ailleurs inactif. Il peut cependant vous rappeler l\u2019importance de l\u2019activit\u00e9 et vous aider \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser un objectif quotidien minimal \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard.
