Je circule, mais je ne suis pas l\u2019appareil circulatoire. Je ne suis pas un corps \u00e9tranger (ou un anticorps) et j\u2019excelle au corps\u2011\u00e0\u2011corps contre les envahisseurs. Si vous pensez que je ne sais pas filtrer, c\u2019est rein\u2011dicule! Qui suis\u2011je? \u2026 Le syst\u00e8me lymphatique.<\/p>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, la r\u00e9ponse se trouve dans le titre, mais l\u2019ensemble des n\u0153uds lymphatiques, des tissus et des vaisseaux qui composent le syst\u00e8me lymphatique reste bel et bien myst\u00e9rieux. Il fonctionne en parall\u00e8le avec certains syst\u00e8mes dans l\u2019organisme et travaille avec d\u2019autres\u00a0: le syst\u00e8me immunitaire, l\u2019appareil circulatoire, l\u2019appareil lympho\u00efde et les gros organes de d\u00e9toxication. Compte tenu de son importance, on pourrait penser qu\u2019il soul\u00e8verait plus d\u2019attention.<\/p>\n<p>Ce h\u00e9ros m\u00e9connu \u0153uvre dans l\u2019organisme en absorbant et en transportant des mol\u00e9cules (notamment des prot\u00e9ines et des d\u00e9bris cellulaires) trop grosses pour circuler dans les veines et les capillaires. Ce liquide lymphatique se dirige ensuite vers les n\u0153uds lymphatiques qui sont, pour ainsi dire, les \u00ab\u00a0postes de filtration\u00a0\u00bb de l\u2019organisme. Autrement dit, le syst\u00e8me lymphatique d\u00e9barrasse l\u2019organisme de tous les d\u00e9chets produits par l\u2019ensemble des cellules. On peut \u00e9galement concevoir le syst\u00e8me lymphatique comme une toilette \u00e0 chasse d&#8217;eau automatique. Sans lui, l\u2019accumulation de d\u00e9chets serait trop importante pour qu\u2019ils soient trait\u00e9s ad\u00e9quatement par l\u2019organisme.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les n\u0153uds lymphatiques, des globules blancs, qui font partie du syst\u00e8me de d\u00e9fense naturel de l\u2019organisme, appel\u00e9s lymphocytes, aident \u00e0 combattre les bact\u00e9ries et les virus. Il y a deux types principaux de globules blancs : les lymphocytes T et les lymphocytes B, \u00e9galement appel\u00e9s cellules T et cellules B, respectivement.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Voyage au centre du cou<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Le liquide qui circule au sein du syst\u00e8me lymphatique se nomme la lymphe \u2013 tout naturel, n\u2019est-ce pas? Ce liquide incolore voyage dans tout l\u2019organisme en utilisant son propre r\u00e9seau de vaisseaux. La lymphe effectue un aller simple entre les espaces interstitiels et les veines sous-clavi\u00e8res \u00e0 la base du cou.<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 l\u2019appareil circulatoire sanguin, le syst\u00e8me lymphatique n\u2019a pas d\u2019organe pour pomper la lymphe et la faire circuler \u00e0 travers l\u2019ensemble des vaisseaux lymphatiques. La pression r\u00e9sultant du mouvement des muscles et des articulations, ainsi que des battements du c\u0153ur, contribuent au mouvement ascendant fluide de la lymphe. (En prime, on sait qu\u2019un massage ad\u00e9quat am\u00e9liore la circulation de la lymphe. Si vous aviez besoin d\u2019une excuse suppl\u00e9mentaire pour vous offrir un massage, maintenant vous l\u2019avez!).<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de son voyage ascendant vers le cou, la lymphe passe par les n\u0153uds lymphatiques. Ces stations sanitaires filtrent la lymphe afin d\u2019en retirer les d\u00e9bris. Les agents potentiellement pathog\u00e8nes sont retenus dans les n\u0153uds lymphatiques o\u00f9 des cellules immunitaires viendront les \u00e9liminer.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 proprement filtr\u00e9e, la lymphe continue son voyage \u00e0 sens unique vers le cou. Arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 destination, la lymphe purifi\u00e9e se d\u00e9verse dans les <em>veines sous-clavi\u00e8res<\/em> de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9 du cou. Finalement, elle se m\u00e9lange au sang et se dirige vers le c\u0153ur o\u00f9 elle sera pomp\u00e9e \u00e0 travers l\u2019appareil circulatoire.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>O\u00f9 se trouve le syst\u00e8me lymphatique?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Partout. Le syst\u00e8me lymphatique est omnipr\u00e9sent dans l\u2019organisme. La plupart des gens ont entre 500 et 700 n\u0153uds lymphatiques r\u00e9partis \u00e0 travers leur organisme.<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9seau de distribution du syst\u00e8me lymphatique rejoint plusieurs r\u00e9gions de l\u2019organisme et chacune d\u2019entre elles a sa propre trajectoire de drainage. Les r\u00e9gions qui ont le plus grand nombre de n\u0153uds sont l\u2019aine, le cou et les aisselles.<\/p>\n<p>Les n\u0153uds lymphatiques se classent en deux cat\u00e9gories selon l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 ils se trouvent \u2013 en surface (n\u0153uds superficiels) ou en profondeur (n\u0153uds profonds).<\/p>\n<p>Les n\u0153uds lymphatiques superficiels comprennent les n\u0153uds\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>axillaires\u00a0: Situ\u00e9s dans chaque aisselle, ces n\u0153uds re\u00e7oivent la lymphe en provenance des bras, de la poitrine, du dos et des tissus mammaires.<\/li>\n<li>inguinaux\u00a0: Situ\u00e9s dans les aines, ces n\u0153uds re\u00e7oivent la lymphe en provenance des jambes, de la partie inf\u00e9rieure de l\u2019abdomen, de la r\u00e9gion fessi\u00e8re et des organes g\u00e9nitaux externes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les n\u0153uds lymphatiques profonds comprennent les n\u0153uds\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sus-claviculaires\u00a0: Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 la base du cou, au-dessus des clavicules, cet important groupe de n\u0153uds lymphatiques re\u00e7oit la lymphe en provenance de la t\u00eate et des \u00e9paules. C\u2019est pourquoi, en cas de maladie, ce groupe sera trait\u00e9 en priorit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>abdominaux\/pelviens\u00a0: L\u2019abdomen renferme une grande quantit\u00e9 de n\u0153uds lymphatiques \u2013 ils entourent les organes et les intestins. Ces n\u0153uds re\u00e7oivent \u00e9galement la lymphe en provenance de la r\u00e9gion inguinale superficielle. La congestion dans cette r\u00e9gion peut causer de l\u2019\u0153d\u00e8me aux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s des membres inf\u00e9rieurs, \u00e0 l\u2019abdomen et aux organes g\u00e9nitaux.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On trouve \u00e9galement le tissu lympho\u00efde \u00e0 d\u2019autres endroits dans l\u2019organisme, notamment dans les amygdales, la rate, la paroi de l\u2019intestin et la moelle osseuse.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>L\u2019immunit\u00e9, le syst\u00e8me lymphatique et l\u2019intestin<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Une importante proportion du tissu lympho\u00efde est associ\u00e9e aux intestins et entoure l\u2019appareil digestif. Ceci est en partie attribuable au fait que le tube digestif constitue la porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e principale des substances pathog\u00e8nes comme les bact\u00e9ries, les allerg\u00e8nes, les m\u00e9taux lourds, les champignons et autres contaminants.<\/p>\n<p>Diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments de l\u2019appareil digestif\u00a0\u2013 les enzymes, les acides et la flore intestinale \u2013 tentent de neutraliser les agents pathog\u00e8nes qui envahissent l\u2019organisme. N\u00e9anmoins, ceux qui arrivent tout de m\u00eame \u00e0 entrer sont pris en charge par le tissu lympho\u00efde associ\u00e9 au tube digestif (GALT).<\/p>\n<p>Le GALT re\u00e7oit de l\u2019information de la part du microenvironnement des intestins sous la forme des agents pathog\u00e8nes qui arrivent \u00e0 franchir la premi\u00e8re barri\u00e8re. Il \u00e9value alors quels agents pathog\u00e8nes m\u00e9ritent une r\u00e9action allergique et sollicite l\u2019action des syst\u00e8mes immunitaire et endocrinien.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, lorsque le GALT est en sant\u00e9, il inhibe les r\u00e9actions allergiques et diminue les intol\u00e9rances alimentaires. Son fonctionnement est complexe et d\u00e9pend, entre autres, de l\u2019\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 courant de chaque personne. Par contre, on peut affirmer que plus le tissu lympho\u00efde associ\u00e9 au tube digestif est sain, moins l\u2019organisme est vuln\u00e9rable aux bact\u00e9ries et aux autres agents chimiques en provenance de l\u2019alimentation. Si le fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me digestif est mauvais en raison de constipation, de diarrh\u00e9e ou d\u2019autres affections gastro\u2011intestinales, ou m\u00eame en raison d\u2019intol\u00e9rances alimentaires ou de stress, la circulation ad\u00e9quate de la lymphe peut s&#8217;en trouver entrav\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Favoriser Le Bon Fonctionnement Du Syst\u00e8me Lymphatique<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me lymphatique travaille sans rel\u00e2che pour garder votre corps propre et en sant\u00e9. Voici quelques \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 int\u00e9grer dans votre style de vie afin de soutenir votre syst\u00e8me lymphatique\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adoptez une alimentation saine. R\u00e9duisez votre consommation de toxines en pr\u00e9f\u00e9rant les aliments naturels \u2013 fruits, l\u00e9gumes et grains entiers \u2013 aux aliments transform\u00e9s. Moins la lymphe aura de toxines \u00e0 g\u00e9rer, plus elle circulera ais\u00e9ment.<\/li>\n<li>Buvez de grandes quantit\u00e9s d\u2019une eau de bonne qualit\u00e9. \u00c9vitez la d\u00e9shydratation. C&#8217;est principalement par la contraction musculaire qui a lieu lorsqu\u2019on fait de l\u2019exercice ou qu\u2019on pratique la respiration profonde que la lymphe circule.
