Il suffit de r\u00e9duire la consommation de boissons tr\u00e8s sucr\u00e9es et de viandes rouges et transform\u00e9es et d\u2019adopter une alimentation riche en l\u00e9gumes, fruits, poisson, noix et grains entiers. C\u2019est la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude qui fait \u00e9tat d\u2019une association entre l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 du r\u00e9gime alimentaire sur une p\u00e9riode d\u2019au moins 12 ans avec une baisse du taux global de mortalit\u00e9 et de d\u00e9c\u00e8s de cause cardiovasculaire, tout en soulignant l\u2019importance de conserver \u00e0 long terme un mode d\u2019alimentation sain.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude consistait \u00e0 analyser l\u2019association entre les changements dans la qualit\u00e9 du r\u00e9gime alimentaire de pr\u00e8s de 74\u00a0000 adultes sur une p\u00e9riode de 12 ans et leur risque de d\u00e9c\u00e9der dans les 12 ann\u00e9es suivantes, \u00e0 partir des donn\u00e9es de deux \u00e9tudes \u00e0 long terme \u2013 <em>Nurses\u2019 Health Study<\/em> et <em>Health Professionals\u2019 Follow-up Study<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>La qualit\u00e9 du r\u00e9gime alimentaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019aide de trois m\u00e9thodes de mesure : l\u2019Alternate Healthy Eating Index de 2010, l\u2019Alternate Mediterranean Diet et les Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH). Les fruits, l\u00e9gumes, grains entiers, poissons ou acides gras om\u00e9ga-3 constituaient les groupes alimentaires qui avaient le plus contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 du r\u00e9gime alimentaire.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nos r\u00e9sultats mettent en lumi\u00e8re les bienfaits \u00e0 long terme pour la sant\u00e9 d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 du r\u00e9gime alimentaire, tout en mettant l\u2019accent sur le mode d\u2019alimentation global plut\u00f4t que sur des aliments ou nutriments pr\u00e9cis. Chacun peut adopter un bon mode d\u2019alimentation selon ses pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences alimentaires et culturelles et son \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9.
