Et c\u2019est dommage, car impossible de prendre des d\u00e9cisions \u00e9clair\u00e9es sans une information fiable.<\/p>\n<p>Il est particuli\u00e8rement important de bien conna\u00eetre les faits lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit de prendre des d\u00e9cisions qui affectent la sant\u00e9 de vos enfants. La distinction entre le vrai et le faux est cependant souvent difficile \u00e0 \u00e9tablir en mati\u00e8re de nutrition pour les enfants.<\/p>\n<p>Nous sommes l\u00e0 pour vous aider. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces quelques points de discussion portant sur la nutrition des enfants, vous saurez mieux faire la part des choses.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>All\u00e9gation\u00a0: le jus de fruit est aussi bon pour la sant\u00e9 que le fruit entier.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ce n\u2019est pas sans raison qu\u2019il est conseill\u00e9 de consommer de deux \u00e0 quatre portions de fruits par jour. Un nombre croissant d\u2019\u00e9tudes indiquent que les fruits sont excellents pour la sant\u00e9. Par cons\u00e9quent, votre m\u00e9decin vous a sans doute prescrit d\u2019en manger en plus grande quantit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Si le fruit entier est si bon pour la sant\u00e9, le jus de fruit devrait l\u2019\u00eatre tout autant, n\u2019est-ce pas? M\u00eame si la croyance perdure voulant que le fruit entier et le fruit sous forme de jus soient aussi nutritifs l\u2019un que l\u2019autre, ils ne sont pas \u00e9gaux selon de nouvelles donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/askthescientists.com\/fr\/whole-fruit-versus-fruit-juice-eat-drink\/\">Une nouvelle \u00e9tude men\u00e9e par des scientifiques d\u2019USANA et publi\u00e9e dans la revue <em>Nutrients<\/em><\/a>\u00a0fait \u00e9tat d\u2019une diff\u00e9rence sensible entre les deux sur le plan de l\u2019ADN.<\/p>\n<p>Les sujets de l\u2019\u00e9tude ayant mang\u00e9 des fruits entiers avaient une signature \u00e9pig\u00e9n\u00e9tique sur des r\u00e9gions pr\u00e9cises de l\u2019ADN diff\u00e9rente de celle des participants ayant consomm\u00e9 du jus. (La signature \u00e9pig\u00e9n\u00e9tique est un code chimique activant ou d\u00e9sactivant les g\u00e8nes.) On a observ\u00e9 chez les participants qui ont mang\u00e9 les fruits entiers un enrichissement pr\u00e8s des voies li\u00e9es \u00e0 la fonction immunitaire, \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 chromosomique et \u00e0 la pr\u00e9servation des t\u00e9lom\u00e8res. Chez les buveurs de jus, cet enrichissement se produisait \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des voies pro-inflammatoires.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude attribue principalement aux fibres ces diff\u00e9rences. Fait connu, <a href=\"https:\/\/askthescientists.com\/fr\/qa\/dietary-fiber-and-microbiome\/\">la consommation de fibres a des effets sur le microbiome<\/a>\u00a0et, du m\u00eame coup, sur l\u2019absorption de certains nutriments.<\/p>\n<p>Les jus sont bien commodes et savoureux, mais comme la plupart sont tr\u00e8s sucr\u00e9s, faibles en fibres et avec des effets \u00e9pig\u00e9n\u00e9tiques diff\u00e9rents, les fruits entiers demeurent le choix sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion\u00a0: faux<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>All\u00e9gation\u00a0: les carottes peuvent nous aider \u00e0 voir dans le noir\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Depuis des dizaines, sinon des centaines d\u2019ann\u00e9es, des parents ont racont\u00e9 \u00e0 leurs enfants qu\u2019en mangeant des carottes ils pourraient voir m\u00eame dans la noirceur. C\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e9videmment une histoire pour faire consommer des l\u00e9gumes \u00e0 leur prog\u00e9niture, mais l\u2019histoire pourrait bien avoir un fond de v\u00e9rit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>On s\u2019entend que ni la carotte ni aucune autre substance ne peuvent conf\u00e9rer aux enfants des pouvoirs hors du commun. La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 n\u2019a rien d\u2019une bande dessin\u00e9e. Par contre, on croirait \u00e0 tort que la carotte n\u2019a aucun lien avec la sant\u00e9 oculaire. Ce lien est r\u00e9el, en grande partie \u00e0 cause du b\u00eata-carot\u00e8ne qui contribue \u00e0 la couleur orange de ce l\u00e9gume.<\/p>\n<p>Le b\u00eata-carot\u00e8ne\u00a0est un carot\u00e9no\u00efde de provitamine A \u2013 un pigment v\u00e9g\u00e9tal dans les fruits et l\u00e9gumes qui agit aussi comme une mol\u00e9cule antioxydante. Appartenant \u00e0 une m\u00eame famille d\u2019antioxydants carot\u00e9no\u00efdes, la <a href=\"https:\/\/askthescientists.com\/fr\/qa\/la-zeaxanthine\/\">z\u00e9axanthine<\/a>, la <a href=\"https:\/\/askthescientists.com\/fr\/qa\/la-luteine\/\">lut\u00e9ine<\/a> et le lycop\u00e8ne ne favorisent pas l\u2019activit\u00e9 de la vitamine A. Par contre, le b\u00eata-carot\u00e8ne peut convertir la vitamine A dans l\u2019organisme, contribuant ainsi de fa\u00e7on marqu\u00e9e \u00e0 une bonne vision.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si les carottes ne donnent pas le pouvoir de la vision nocturne aux enfants, elles renferment des nutriments qui aident \u00e0 pr\u00e9server la sant\u00e9 de leurs yeux.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion\u00a0: un fond de v\u00e9rit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>All\u00e9gation\u00a0: le d\u00e9jeuner est le repas le plus important de la journ\u00e9e.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ce vieil adage semble tomber souvent dans l\u2019oreille d\u2019un sourd, car environ la moiti\u00e9 des familles am\u00e9ricaines ne d\u00e9jeunent pas r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est tr\u00e8s dommage. Des \u00e9tudes associent le d\u00e9jeuner\u00a0au rendement scolaire, \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire, au poids sant\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019humeur et \u00e0 bien d\u2019autres facteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Impossible de nier les avantages de commencer la journ\u00e9e en prenant un repas sain et bien \u00e9quilibr\u00e9. Un apport de prot\u00e9ines, glucides complexes, gras b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques et grains entiers (avec des fibres saines) constitue un excellent point de d\u00e9part pour la journ\u00e9e et peut certes rassasier les enfants. Des aliments sains et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9s peuvent aussi \u00e9viter les effondrements soudains caus\u00e9s par les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales tr\u00e8s sucr\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le repas du matin est important pour un enfant, m\u00eame s\u2019il ne compense pas les mauvais choix alimentaires le reste de la journ\u00e9e. Aussi essentiel que soit le d\u00e9jeuner, il importe surtout d\u2019avoir une alimentation saine et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e toute la journ\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion\u00a0: largement vrai<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>All\u00e9gation\u00a0: les enfants n\u2019aiment pas les l\u00e9gumes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Personne ne vient au monde en ha\u00efssant les l\u00e9gumes. Disons que la culture populaire et les anecdotes de l\u2019entourage peuvent amener les nouveaux parents \u00e0 croire que les enfants d\u00e9testent automatiquement les aliments sains, comme le brocoli.<\/p>\n<p>Certains enfants \u2013 et aussi des adultes \u2013 sont capricieux. <a href=\"\/?p=4970\">En raison de leurs caprices, les enfants n\u2019ont pas une alimentation toujours \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e et ils consomment plus qu\u2019ils ne devraient des calories tir\u00e9es du sucre<\/a>.\u00a0Par ailleurs, la d\u00e9couverte d\u00e8s le bas \u00e2ge des l\u00e9gumes et d\u2019autres aliments sant\u00e9 peut faire une diff\u00e9rence tr\u00e8s nette tout au long de leur vie.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ajcn.nutrition.org\/content\/early\/2017\/05\/17\/ajcn.116.143982.short?rss=1\">Une \u00e9tude<\/a>\u00a0laisse m\u00eame entendre que la saveur des l\u00e9gumes dans le lait maternel peut am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9ceptivit\u00e9 ult\u00e9rieure du nourrisson \u00e0 ce go\u00fbt. D\u2019autres \u00e9tudes seront n\u00e9cessaires pour approfondir ce lien. Nous savons cependant que le comportement parental \u2013 comme les bonnes habitudes alimentaires \u2013 influe sur celui des enfants.<\/p>\n<p>Il n\u2019existe aucune pr\u00e9disposition \u00e0 la haine des l\u00e9gumes. Les go\u00fbts acquis d\u00e8s l\u2019enfance peuvent avoir des r\u00e9percussions \u00e0 long terme. Le palais s\u2019affine avec le temps, mais il est essentiel d\u2019aider tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t les enfants \u00e0 aimer les aliments sains, comme les l\u00e9gumes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion\u00a0: faux<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De plus petite taille, les enfants mangent moins, mais comme la plupart des parents le savent, leur taille ne rend pas plus facile de leur fournir les nutriments qu\u2019il leur faut.<\/p>\n<p>Il est tr\u00e8s important de fournir aux enfants tout ce qu\u2019il leur faut pour favoriser leur d\u00e9veloppement autant intellectuel que physique. La cl\u00e9? Un r\u00e9gime alimentaire sain et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 \u2013 avec une abondance de fruits et l\u00e9gumes, prot\u00e9ines maigres et grains entiers riches en fibres \u2013 et une suppl\u00e9mentation ad\u00e9quate.
