Les examens cliniques de la peau ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9s par des dermatologues. L\u2019apparence du vieillissement cutan\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finie comme une apparence rid\u00e9e, un dess\u00e8chement associ\u00e9 au vieillissement (dess\u00e8chement s\u00e9nile) et une atrophie cutan\u00e9e (fl\u00e9trissement ou r\u00e9traction).<\/p>\n<p>De m\u00eame qu\u2019un apport plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de vitamine C a \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une plus faible probabilit\u00e9 d\u2019une apparence rid\u00e9e, un apport \u00e9galement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 d\u2019acide linol\u00e9ique (un acide gras essentiel\u00a0om\u00e9ga-6) a \u00e9t\u00e9 li\u00e9 \u00e0 une probabilit\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieure de dess\u00e8chement s\u00e9nile et d\u2019atrophie cutan\u00e9e. Par contre, un apport sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la moyenne en lipides et en glucides augmentait la probabilit\u00e9 d\u2019une apparence rid\u00e9e et d\u2019une atrophie de la peau. Ces liens ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablis ind\u00e9pendamment de l\u2019\u00e2ge, l\u2019origine ethnique, l\u2019\u00e9ducation, l\u2019exposition au soleil, le revenu, la m\u00e9nopause, l\u2019indice de masse corporelle, la prise de suppl\u00e9ments, l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique et l\u2019apport \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n<p>Un apport \u00e9lev\u00e9 de vitamine C et d\u2019acide linol\u00e9ique et un apport r\u00e9duit en lipides et glucides sont associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une meilleure apparence du vieillissement cutan\u00e9.
