Cada cent\u00edmetro cuadrado de piel consta de aproximadamente 19 millones de c\u00e9lulas, y todas pasan por un interesante ciclo vital exclusivo de ese tipo de c\u00e9lulas.<\/p>\n<h2>Ciclo de vida de las c\u00e9lulas de la piel: Empieza desde lo m\u00e1s bajo<\/h2>\n<p>La historia de la vida de una c\u00e9lula de la piel es una historia de triunfo. Conformen van naciendo las nuevas, se facilita el ascenso, pues empujan a las existentes hacia las capas superiores, que al ser presionadas hacia arriba, se aplanan<\/p>\n<p>Esta etapa del ciclo vital de las c\u00e9lulas de la piel es dura, pero tan ardua jornada las prepara para el rudo trabajo de proteger al cuerpo del mundo exterior.<\/p>\n<p>Ninguna c\u00e9lula cut\u00e1nea sobrevive al ascenso, pues eso es lo que supuestamente tienen que hacer: morir.<\/p>\n<h2>Ni los muertos descansan<\/h2>\n<p>La piel que usted ve en este momento est\u00e1 muerta, y para encontrar una c\u00e9lula viva tiene que escarbar a trav\u00e9s de unas 20 capas de piel.<\/p>\n<p>No est\u00e1n vivas, pero eso no significa que las c\u00e9lulas cut\u00e1neas hayan dejado de trabajar por la salud de su organismo: esas c\u00e9lulas planas y endurecidas constituyen capas y capas de protecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Las capas superiores de c\u00e9lulas muertas son como las tejas de un techo: se superponen para formar una barrera impermeable al agua.
