Estudios cl\u00ednicos de la piel fueron realizados por dermat\u00f3logos. La apariencia en el envejecimiento de la piel fue definida como tener una apariencia arrugada, sequedad asociada con el envejecimiento (sequedad senil) y atrofia de la piel (deshidrataci\u00f3n o encogimiento).<\/p>\n<p>Un consumo m\u00e1s elevado de vitamina C fue asociado con una probabilidad m\u00e1s baja de que aparezcan arrugas. Un consumo mayor de \u00e1cido linoleico (un \u00e1cido graso esencial omega-6) fue asociado con menores probabilidades de padecer resequedad senil y atrofia en la piel.
