Los participantes llenaron un cuestionario de salud y asistieron a una cl\u00ednica entre los a\u00f1os 1993 y 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de un seguimiento de aproximadamente 9 a\u00f1os y medio, el riesgo de ataque card\u00edaco era 42% menor en los participantes que estaban en los primeros cuatro niveles mas altos de vitamina C en sangre, al compararlos con aquellos que obtuvieron niveles m\u00e1s bajos.
